Prayer has become the substitute for animal sacrifices since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. It serves as a means for Jews to express gratitude for the countless kindnesses bestowed upon them by their Creator, as well as seek assistance with their daily endeavors. One of the primary objectives of prayer is to remember Jerusalem on a daily basis and beseech its reconstruction. That is why Jews, regardless of their location, must pray facing Jerusalem, recognizing it as the "light of the whole world".

However, when we find ourselves in unfamiliar surroundings or are traveling, it can be confusing to determine the proper way to pray. In such situations, the "Jew Compass" application provides a convenient solution by accurately determining the precise direction required for prayers.

Our aspiration is that this application will assist numerous Jews in offering their prayers correctly and that we may soon witness the speedy rebuilding of Jerusalem in our lifetime.
